When last year’s delegation from Leichlingen visited, they brought with them a very special present: five fruit trees.
Leichlingen is known as die Blütenstadt (town of the blossom) thanks to its history as a major fruit-growing centre in North-Rhine Westphalia.
“The idea is that people will come out and harvest (if the squirrels don’t get there first!)”
